Researched some forums & found out that 30hz is too low for gaming, others said that it was v-sync on the cheap. I would like to reserve the display port for my macbook pro if possible as the new monitor has "Picture By Picture" & gpu is my on next upgrade. If that would make any difference but i can't find any info on the different frequency these cables would produce on Samsung's website & not much info regarding the gpu either. Is it because of my old gpu or do i use display port instead of hdmi? macOS Big Sur 11.6.1 comes roughly six weeks after the launch.

I've noticed alot of tearing in the middle while gaming & wondering was it because of the low refresh rate? Only way to get 60hz is to go one step lower resolution but i don't want that.įairly new to this as i've been using 1920x1080 native res on my older monitor for some time & i've never had any tearing issues with it & never had to tinker any settings to game ( besides in-game graphics settings). Apple today released macOS Big Sur 11.6.1, a minor update to the macOS Big Sur operating system that first came out in November 2020. A few restarts and forced restarts after two update stages later the Mac VM is running fine. it seems like both monitors keep changing resolution and/or refresh rate. Does anyone know where I can get a tool to allow operating the external monitor at a different. Trouble is, the external monitor can only run at the same resolution and refresh rate as the iMac.

Currently, the monitor is hooked up to my Sapphire HD6870 gpu on hdmi at native res, 3440x1440 30hz. Once in mac os mount both EFI partitions (the one in OpenCore.img and the one in the macos vdisk) and copi files from OpenCore.img to macos vdisk. Hey, I've got an external 19' Monitor hooked up to my iMac, cause I hate the iMac's screen. The virtual display is set to 60hz and when I scroll in chrome its very choppy (to me that is, its clearly 60hz and not buttery smooth 144hz) Guest machine is XP, host is win 8.1 圆4.

While it is possible, having the Tools for an older OS work in a newer OS is unusual. i have a 144hz display, and virtualbox runs at 60hz. The Parallels Tools are individually designed for each guest OS. In the Your VM section of the code, you must type the name of your macOS virtual machine.

Hey guys, i just got the Samsung S34E790C curve monitor & i'm not sure whether this is a problem. A large portion of this time was downloading the Install macOS Big Sur public beta appa 12.3GB download Normally, installing the Parallels Tools in a new OS under development is a mistake. To change the screen size of the virtual machine on VirtualBox, follow the steps below in order.
